Sock Summit here we come!

I have been working really hard dyeing up all sorts of skeins for Sock Summit. If you can make it there please stop by my booth and say hi!!

I will have all the usual favorites (barbigoths, green eyed monster, blue ballz etc) as well as a few new ones and also a lot of Gothlings and semi solids as well! I'll have GothSocks, OhMyGoth Socks, Gothlings, OhMyGothlings, Pure semi-solids, an small assortment of fiber as well as Kristy's GothSacks and GothSack knitting totes!

If you can't make it to Sock Summit don't worry...it'll be back to usual with shop updates again by mid August :)

During the week of Aug 5-10 I will be in Portland and the shop will be on "vacation" so to speak.

Announcement about my Fuwa Fuwa base

Hi all! I need to make an announcement about my Fuwa Fuwa base which is the base yarn for GothSocks and Gothlings, and my semi solids.

I have been having some problems with it and I really do want to bring you the best quality yarn I can so…it is time to make a change.

I have a new base yarn that will replace the Fuwa Fuwa that is phenomenal. It has 435 yds per skein and it is simply gorgeous.

Now I know that you guys like the Fuwa Fuwa, I do too but this new yarn really is the bomb and is pretty flawless in comparison. Sure…it costs me a little more but I will not….I repeat NOT be raising prices on any of my yarns.

The new yarn base will be called “Pure” and will replace all the lines the Fuwa Fuwa was featured in. It has the same plump and tight twist. And best of all it is totally squishably soft (I think even more so than the Fuwa Fuwa) and is consistent and gorgeous.

I am confident that you guys are going to love it. Trust me. It’s truly beautiful.

So starting with this next shop update, all regular GothSocks will be on the Pure base and all Gothlings and semi-solids as well.

I will be selling the remaining Fuwa Fuwa semi solids/varigateds this week. So check in the shop for some good close out deals over this next week!

Thanks so much and I can’t wait for you guys to get some of the new stuff. It’s by far my favorite 100% merino sock yarn that I’ve dyed yet.

And don’t worry…I still have the MCN base and the Gilded base as well. Those will stay the same. No changes needed because they are beautiful all on their own :)

News and Shop update on June 10th 10:30am PST

The sock club is now sold out! Woot! I am SO looking forward to this club. It'll be lots of fun.

I'm working on the last installment for the Dead Poets club this week and then a shop update on June 10th at 10:30am PST.

There will be lots more of the merino/nylon/cashmere in this one. I just got a bunch in and it's sooooo yummy! I'll be doing some of my regular colorways on this base for this update as well as some surprises. Once I've hammered out the details I will list them in here!

GothSock Club Sign Ups!

Sign ups for the Tim Burton Inspired GothSock club are here! (this is the first time trying to post this kind of thing to the blog so if anything goes screwy...be patient with me as I work on it!)

Just to recap what this club is all about :

6 month GothSock Club inspired by the works of Tim Burton!!!

This club will run for a full 6 months starting in July and will run through December. Club packages will ship the first week of each month and will feature the following yarns:

1 month of OhMyGoth – 80/10/10 sw merino/nylon/cashmere blend
1 month of Gilded GothSocks -- 63/20/15/2 sw merino/silk/nylon/silver
1 month of Not-a-Goth GothSocks on Fuwa Fuwa base yarn (100% sw merino) (non-black self striping)
1 month of Gothlings- non striping semi-solid overdyed on Fuwa Fuwa base (100% sw merino)
2 months of Regular GothSocks on Fuwa Fuwa base (100% sw merino)

(Not necessarily in that order. I haven't assigned which month to which base yarn yet)

I am doing 2 pricing options for this club and they will be recurring payment subscritions through PayPal. (you don't need a paypal account. You can sign up with just a credit card as well)

The first option is a 3 month payment plan as follows:

USA - $96 billed at sign up and again in 3 months.
CANADA - $102 at sign up and again in 3 months.
INTERNATIONAL - $108 at sign up and again in 3 months.

I’m also offering a Once a month payment plan as well as follows:

USA - $32 monthly payments
CANADA - $34 montly payments
INTERNATIONAL - $36 montly payments

WA state residents please add 9.5% sales tax.

All prices include shipping and I will include some small swag items from time to time when I can. The subscription is for a full 6 months and by signing up you are agreeing to the payment terms above for the duration of the club.
